Spanish Churros: A Crispy Classic
Churros are a beloved traditional treat from Spain — although their true origin is somewhat of a mystery. Some say Portuguese explorers brought a similar pastry from China, while others believe Spanish shepherds first crafted churros in high mountain regions as a simple, hearty snack.
In Spain, churros are a daily delight — enjoyed for breakfast, as a midday snack, or a sweet dessert. The most iconic pairing? Churros con chocolate: golden sticks of fried dough served with thick, rich hot chocolate. Café con leche and churros are another classic combo.
Churros London: Tradition with a Twist
Since 2011, we’ve been proudly serving fresh churros from our stall in Camden Market, blending Spanish tradition with London flair.
We make churros the authentic way — hot, golden, and freshly fried to order — but we also let you top them your way. From classic cinnamon sugar to dulce de leche (toffee), Belgian chocolate, and even ice cream, we’ve brought a taste of South America and local favourites to your plate.
Every churro is cooked in crystal-clear rapeseed oil at 190°C for the perfect crispy-outside, fluffy-inside finish. Our dough is 100% vegan — so everyone can enjoy!
Some toppings do contain dairy — and for those, we humbly thank the cows. Gracias, vacas!
